Highball

Glass: Highball or Rocks

Equipment: Jigger. Ice.

Ingredients:

  • 2oz whiskey

  • 3oz ginger ale

  1. Get a highball or rocks glass and fill it with ice.

  2. Pour in the whiskey and fill it with ginger ale

  3. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy

Manhattan

Glass: Rocks or Martini

Equipment: Pint glass, bar spoon, ice, cocktail strainer

Ingredients:

  • 2oz whiskey or bourbon

  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters

  • 2 dashes cherry bitters

  • 1/2oz-3/4oz sweet vermouth

  1. Get a pint glass and pour in the sweet vermouth followed by both varieties of bitters. Then pour in the whiskey or bourbon, fill the glass with ice and use your bar spoon to stir.

  2. Stir until the ice begins to melt.

  3. Now grab a rocks glass and fill it with fresh ice. Using your cocktail strainer, strain the content of the pint glass into the rocks glass you’ve prepared.

  4. For an option without ice: prep your martini glass with ice and water to chill it. Then dump the ice and strain the contents of the pint glass into the empty, chilled martini glass.

  5. Garnish with a cocktail cherry and enjoy.

Old Fashioned

Glass: Rocks or Martini

Equipment: Pint glass. Bar spoon. Ice. Cocktail strainer.

  • 1/2oz-3/4oz simple syrup

  1. Get a pint glass and pour in the simple syrup followed by both varieties of bitters. Then pour in the whiskey or bourbon, fill the glass with ice and use your bar spoon to stir.

  2. Stir until the ice begins to melt.

  3. Now grab a rocks glass and fill it with fresh ice. Using your cocktail strainer, strain the content of the pint glass into the rocks glass you’ve prepared.

  4. For an option without ice: prep your martini glass with ice and water to chill it. Then dump the ice and strain the contents of the pint glass into the empty, chilled martini glass.

  5. Garnish with a cocktail cherry, some orange zest and enjoy.

Whiskey Sour

Glass: Rocks or Martini

Equipment: Jigger. Citrus juicer. Shaker tin set. Ice. Cocktail strainer.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5oz whiskey or bourbon

  • 1/2 of a fresh lime squeezed

  • 1/2 of a fresh lemon squeezed

  • 1oz simple syrup

  1. Get a pint glass and pour in the simple syrup followed by both the lemon and lime juiced into the glass. Then pour in the whiskey or bourbon, fill the glass with ice and use the shaker tin to shake up the contents. make sure you a have a good seal between the pint glass and shaker tin

  2. Shake for about 10 seconds

  3. Now grab a rocks glass and fill it with fresh ice. Using your cocktail strainer, strain the content of the pint glass into the rocks glass you’ve prepared.

  4. For an option without ice: prep your martini glass with ice and water to chill it. Then dump the ice and strain the contents of the pint glass into the empty, chilled martini glass.

  5. Garnish with half orange wheel and enjoy.

Glass: Rocks, Coup or Martini

Equipment: Pint glass, jigger, ice, cocktail strainer, bar spoon

Ingredients:

  • 2oz whiskey or bourbon

  • 1/2oz Sweet Vermouth

  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters

  • 2 dashes cherry bitters

  1. Get a pint glass and pour in the sweet vermouth followed by the scotch of your choice and both varieties of bitters.

  2. Fill the pint glass with ice.

  3. Using a bar spoon; stir the contents of the pint glass until the ice begins to melt.

  4. Fill your rocks glass with ice. Then, using your cocktail strainer, pour contents of pint glass into the rocks glass.

  5. For an option without ice: prep your martini glass with ice and water to chill it. Then dump the ice and strain the contents of the pint glass into the empty, chilled martini glass.

  6. Garnish with 3 cocktail cherries and enjoy.
