FAQs
Q: Does your bar service travel?
A: Yes! While we are based in Charlotte, NC we service both North & South Carolina and beyond!
“Travel” is defined as destinations greater than forty-five (45) minutes away from our Charlotte-based headquarters.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes. Gold Level Spirits carries more than triple the industry standard for liability insurance.
Q: I already booked you but my venue says I have to use their bartending staff. Can I have my deposit back?
A: Deposits are non-refundable. However, we have worked with almost every major venue in the greater Charlotte area and surrounding cities (Huntersville, Lake Norman, Fort Mill, Asheville).
We encourage you to make the venue aware that you have already contracted us as they may grant an exception.
Q: I need a Limited Special Occasion permit - can you help me obtain one?
A: Limited Special Occasion permits are issued by the State of North Carolina and require both a completed form and a fee determined by the state. Visit abc.nc.gov for more information.
Please Note: Applications for Limited Special Occasion permits must be submitted at least 14 days before the event.
Q: How can I lock in my date?
A: In order to be added to our event calendar, prospective clients must execute a signed contract and pay a deposit. No holds exist unless your deposit has been paid in full.
Q: I got a cheaper price from someone else but we really want to work with you - will you price match the offer?
A: We offer price matching on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@goldlevelspirits.com.
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: Gold Level Spirits offers discounted hourly rates for military personnel (and their spouses) and non-profit organizations.
Q: Can I pay in full?
A: While it is permissible to pay your entire balance upfront, we kindly request that you remit payment at the time of service. Any monies paid in advance will not be refunded should you need to cancel your event.
Q: Can I make monthly payments?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer monthly payments or installment plans on our services. Deposits and remaining balances are to be paid in full.
Q: Will you supply the alcohol?
A: The State of North Carolina has stringent guidelines for the alcohol and spirited beverage sales. At this time, Gold Level Spirits is unable to supply alcohol or spirited beverages pursuant to state law.
We are, however, happy to supply detailed shopping lists to take the guess work out of the equation!
We are also able to provide a variety of syrups, non-spiritous mixers, carbonated beverages and waters in your quote pricing if needed.
Q: Do you offer mocktails?
A: Yes, we pride ourselves on our mixology and craftsmanship above all and can create complex, vibrant mocktails for you and your guests.
Q: My event is cancelled. Will you refund my deposit?
A: Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE however they are TRANSFERABLE and can be used to secure our services up to ninety (90) calendar days from the original event date, so long as Gold Level Spirits is not fully booked.
Q: What happens if you can’t make it?
A: We are happy to report that we have never had to cancel an event for any reason. However, our contract does state that an authorized representative of our company may fill in as needed to fulfill any contractual obligations. However, should Gold Level Spirits have to cancel your event a full refund will be rendered.
NOTE: Please not that acts of God are exempt from our refund policy.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We gladly accept the following forms of payment. CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, ApplePay, Credit or Debit (via Stripe), and cash (for remaining balances).
We do not accept checks, Zelle, or ACH at this time.
